Restaurant Sales and Events Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team at ORLA in Santa Monica. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing private events, and elevating the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to drive group dining and private event sales.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate and execute private events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and special celebrations.
- Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide personalized service and recommendations to enhance the overall guest experience.
Menu Customization:
- Work closely with the culinary team to customize menus for private events, ensuring a tailored and exceptional dining experience for guests.
Contract Negotiation:
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions meet both client and Bourbon Steak standards.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to drive private event bookings.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and event metrics, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and events management, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of the Santa Monica and greater LA markets
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and events management.
Salary: $75,000-85,000 base salary plus commission based on Event Sales
